So, what do you need?

sewing machine in perfect working order. Don’t forget your power cable, foot control and instruction book,
cutting equipment (fabric and thread scissors, mat, rotary cutter, etc)
fabrics – see note below,
thread – always use good quality thread. You will need a shade to tone with your design for piecing (I tend to use different shades of grey according to the tone of my fabric).
Quilting thread – matching, toning, contrasting
Quarter inch foot
Walking foot for your machine and/or Open Toe Free Motion foot (needed for quilting)
Usual sewing kit – pins, hand stitch needles, safety pins, 505 spray etc …….
Fabrics Please let me know your chosen layout and size and I will devise fabric requirements for your design -
You can tailor the blocks, colours and layout to suit yourself, or choose from one of my suggested layouts.
As this is a Quilt As You Go design you will need a 14" square of backing and wadding for each of your blocks.
