Project Progress - Taking PHDs from To Do to Ta-Dah !

I know that you are just like me, with projects started in workshops that never got finished; a list of quilts that are planned and not started, and even more that are half way through!

Finishing a project is so satisfying but sometimes, despite only having a tiny bit to do, we just leave things unfinished and launch ourselves into the next (new and exciting) project and then the guilt builds up!

So let’s get some of these projects finished - and celebrate with each other.

But let's also be realistic - finishing isn't the only goal. Sometimes it's all about making progress. That might be putting on a border, or stitching the binding, or cutting some blocks. Because at the end of the day if we can make a little bit of progress each week, it will all add up, and it's all about pushing the boat forward.

And that’s why I’m so excited to invite you to join Project Progress - Taking PHDs from To Do to Ta-Dah ! I hope that you make lots of progress during the project.

There are a few guidelines -

Join the Facebook Group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/ProjectProgressToDotoTaDah
Download your Progress Tracker, print it off and fill in the projects you want to work on during the challenge.
Take a photo of your Progress Tracker, and share it in the Facebook group before the Closing Date – 7^th October 2024
You also need to share your projects with us on Facebook
Keep your projects manageable for the time that you will have available - your project might be to cut sashing or make a couple of blocks or choose a colour palette - anything that you want it to be.
Each week on Monday evening (when possible) there will be a Zoom session during which I will share some tips, show you my progress, and answer your questions. You’ll have up until the next Sunday evening to share your progress.
If you complete your goal for the designated project during the week, you’ll earn a credit on my spreadsheet.
- If your goal results in a finished quilt, you’ll get an extra credit! (Finished means:- quilted, bound, labelled, and photographed! – and shared in the group!)
- If your goal is a project you have started in one of my classes or workshops you will get another credit.
- There may be extra ways to earn credits during the challenge so keep your eyes open!
At the end of the challenge, there will be love and recognition! The more goals you meet, the more love and recognition will head your way!
