We will look at how the modern movement got started, consider what makes a "modern quilt" and investigate how you might go about "modernising" some of your favourite ideas.
Along the way there will be recollections and anecdotes, and a feast of quilts - there's even some of mine!
You'll get chance to ask lots of questions.

I am so excited to see you here. I hope that you find the information you are looking for, but if not – just drop me a message. Beginner or experienced seamstress, I believe that everybody can learn to quilt.
Whether you are new to patchwork and quilting, or looking to extend your skills, you are bound to find something of interest here.
I didn’t start off being a confident seamstress, in fact, I was all but thrown out of the class at school but I had someone who did not give up on me – and that has influenced me and I want to “pass that forward” – so let’s work together and make the world altogether more piece-ful.
