The Spring Fling in 2025 was a wonderful 48 hours where I had the luxury of thinking about nothing but sewing (with some lovely food, drink and conversation thrown in). Sheena is an inspirational teacher who gave each of us time and space to develop our ideas, while guiding us through new techniques with encouragement and enthusiasm. Thoroughly recommended.

I have some knowledge of using a sewing machine and I have made my first quilt with the help of Sheena on this course. Looked forward to going each month to learn more. Sheena is a great teacher. I was often outside my comfort zone but with her patience and encouragement I have succeeded. I am booked on her next Saturday course in September. Thank you.

The Textile Textures Playtime course is such fun and very informative! I look forward to when the new material is sent out as I find it a real stimulus to creativity. The written tutorials, photos and videos are very well presented and easy to follow. In addition, the tutor, Sheena is very approachable and always willing to provide help as needed. I have found the course to be so useful for giving me ideas for embellishments to add to the upcycled clothing that I create, and did I mention it is FUN?? I highly recommend both this course and the lovely tutor, Sheena who is an excellent teacher.
