Green Man Quilts' Spring Fling! Residential Quilting Weekend. 20-22 March 2026
Residential weekend for the Mod-ish quilter. This year is all about the block. Use mod and improv techniques to make a sampler quilt.
Please note that the venue has yet to confirm their pricing for 2026. Until they do so, I can't set my price! I anticipate that the price will be between £450 and £500.

Experienced quiltmaker, teacher & pattern designer
I am so excited to see you here. I hope that you find the information you are looking for, but if not – just drop me a message. Beginner or experienced seamstress, I believe that everybody can learn to quilt.
Whether you are new to patchwork and quilting, or looking to extend your skills, you are bound to find something of interest here.
I didn’t start off being a confident seamstress, in fact, I was all but thrown out of the class at school but I had someone who did not give up on me – and that has influenced me and I want to “pass that forward” – so let’s work together and make the world altogether more piece-ful.

Spring Fling 2026
Great weekend immersed in Improv quilting. Lots to learn and Sheena on hand to encourage and problem solve. Inspiration from fellow quilters and good venue and food. Highly recommended.

Weekend 20th - 22nd March 2026
I really enjoyed the weekend and have learnt how to do quilting. It was my first time trying quilting and Sheena was a brilliant tutor and helped me understand colours and shapes .... how to use my sewing machine properly. I look forward to next year's weekend. I am definitely going to continue sewing and making quilts. Thank you Sheena and everyone else who was on the weekend course thank you for your support and encouragement, look forward to seeing you all next time.

Spring Fling 2026
A wonderful Spring Fling 2026. Sheena was inspirational, encouraging and enthusiast for all who were taking part. Giving us ideas, space to develop our own, helping us through new techniques. The accommodation was really good with some lovely food. Time to socialise with a drink and get to know everyone. Thoroughly recommended, will be going again in 2027

Quilting weekend
Great weekend quilting. As a beginner I was taken outside my comfort zone with lots of help and reassurance from a patient teacher. Hotel, food and the staff made the weekend enjoyable and relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

The Spring Fling in 2025 was a wonderful 48 hours where I had the luxury of thinking about nothing but sewing (with some lovely food, drink and conversation thrown in). Sheena is an inspirational teacher who gave each of us time and space to develop our ideas, while guiding us through new techniques with encouragement and enthusiasm. Thoroughly recommended.
